Ars Electronica 2004
At the Ars Electronica Festival 2004 Creative Commons was represented manyfold: winning the golden Nica, presenting the launch of the Austrian licenses, within four discussion rounds, and its own stand, where people could sign for a license to get a bottle of Open Source Water.

- Creative Commons won the golden Nica in the category Net Vision. Roland Alton-Scheidl and Georg Pleger from Creative Commons Austria and Christiane Asschenfeldt from Creative Commons International are really proud! Creative Commons Board member Joichi Ito from Japan shared the fame with us.
